In Australia, the Ethiad Stadium in Melbourne is unique as a part of it's roof lies inside the playing area. Mike Hussey hit a shot here in 2005 against World XI that hit the roof and was declared as dead ball. But Aaron Finch's love with hitting the roof of this stadium is unique.
Aaron Finch was in no mood of forgetting the 2012 "ball hitting roof" incident and cruelity of the rules at that time. In 2014, he again hit a six that hit the roof of the same stadium. This time, he hit James Faulkner in a match against Melbourne Stars in Big Bash League. As per the rules change in 2012, it was given six this time. Aaron Finch finally had his reward.
In 2012 Big Bash League, he hit a shot of Doug Bollinger that hit the roof of the stadium in a match against Hobart Hurricanes. As per the rules, it was declared as a dead ball. It would have been a 100 m plus six but was converted to nothing by umpires. There was a huge controversy about this dead ball rule and Cricket Australia changed the rule i.e it will be considered as six .
